This new model from DBZ is called the Bolero AB In gloss black, this guitar evokes memories of a late 1968 model in ways that boggle the mind. The aged outer binding frame a thick layer of hand inlaid abalone surrounded by black and white binding. Gold hardware adorns the guitar giving it a classy look. Twin Custom made DBZ humbuckers deliver thick searing overtones in both positions showing that not all stock pickups end up in the circular file. The neck on the Bolero AB is ebonized Rose wood and is tightly grained giving the diamond inlays a sleek custom look. The neck shape is a soft V shape with jumbo frets and very comfortable to the touch, with a feeling right at home. Weight wise, the Bolero is just about right, giving it a vintage feel and sound. This guitar will be the new standard in this market place and a popular gift idea this holiday season mainly because of it's price point, we're talking $699 here with the look of a guitar costing over a thousand. Evoking a classic look, this model has a twist of its own with it's multi body plane design and dish carved arch top. The hardware supplied include a solid tuneomatic bridge, am engraved light zinc cast custom tail piece, Grover Rotomatic tuners and a master volume master tone and three position pickup selector. At the top of the headstock is a masterpiece, a cast metal DBZ logo plate, in gold and black lacquer. I seriously recommend trying one of these out.
