One of the Nicest Guitars I've ever seen |

| This guitar... The DBZ Bolero Custom FM in Tobacco Sunburst is probably the nicest guitar I have ever seen Opening the case and seeing this guitar was like Christmas morning From the deeply carved flamed maple top to the sculpted cuts at the right side turn of the cutaway, this guitar out does everything in it's class. A full 3/4" thick dish carved top blends into the mahogany body deftly measuring 2" thick at the sides, (before the top thickness) The Ebony fingerboard is nicely bound in black and finished, and the frets are polished to a mirror finish. The expertly carved "Z" logo sits at the twelfth fret in a "Zorro" font It is killer and sets this guitar aside by showing it's specialness zing. Natural exposed binding finishes off the top revealing the flamed maple edges and giving it the overall look of a top shelf instrument. Neck angle of this guitar sits the instrument at good angle off the body, relieving stress from the "reaching out to play" scenario. The pickups are balanced, sound full and ring out clear through the range. You can go over this guitar, sit there and look at it all day long and still find a reason to open the case and look at it. It hangs from a strap at about 2 o'clock, and the balance is good. The weight is there, i like heavy guitars so this doesn't bother me, i think the weight gives it a good solid tone and actually helps the sound. Others like lighter guitars and that's fine too, lighter weight adds a different resonance to the mix. All in all this is a superbly built instrument and you will not be disappointed. |
