One Part of the Guitar Wall. Instead of sticking with the standard hanging design of a boring music store with guitars hanging side by side, getting tired after a while, we decided to spruce it up a bit. We made it more museum-like and started framing stationary items like the amp stacks and picture frames. This made the wall look awesome and made the guitars come alive. You really have to choose the right guitars to make the wall look symmetrical though. It's Definately not boring. By the way things change in here ALL the time, I might get tired of this format tomorrow...
Another view from the right side, lately, things sell so fast lately, it's hard to get the wall actually filled. People used to say to me, "You're doing things backwards, the idea is to empty the wall, not fill it up." That was my landlord who said that, Now it's harder to fill the wall up and not leave any gaps than it is to empty it. Some people say I spend too much time on presentation and that it doesn't matter. I say if something doesn't look nice to the eye, it's not going to make you buy it. If something jumps out at you, there's got to be a reason for it and it's usually because something attracted you to it.
Further down the back, The Dean wall kicks in and next to that the Bass wall which goes down another 20 feet or so... The Dean wall is pretty much a mix of Imported Korean '79 series and such and towards the top it's all USA Dean's from Collector's Edition Hardtails to Custom Shop V's and Explorers...If you see something on Dean's web site and you want it, call me, and you'll get it. I'll give you the best price I can and you won't be disappointed. They are great guitars and the guys that assemble them at Dean adjust them to absolutely NO BUZZ at all...
A Close Up view of the Dean Wall in All it's Glory. These Guitars Pretty Much are very surprising to see how Dean Hardtails Smoke guitars out there by someone very popular...no names mentioned. From Custom Shop options to exotic woods, these guitars can measure up to the best of em....
This part of the ESP Wall. Many Guitars has been flying from here in the past two weeks. Most of the Namm Items are in except for 4 or 5 really hot ones like, the MH1000 in STBC, The F400 in STBC, The new M1000 and the ESP Standard Viper in Camo and Black. The Standard Viper in Black is so hot it's hard to keep in stock, I have quite a few coming so if you really have to have one, Please call me and get on the list otherwise, it could be a while...
The Front wall as you walk in, Washburn electrics, some Line 6 Variax instruments, some lower end ESP and dean and a few Carlino Electrics round it out...And of course a full stack of RANDALL MTS Tube Module RM100B amplifier @ 100 screaming tubular watts. It's like having 13 amplifiers in 1. Replaceable modules from Fender sounds to Marshall, Mesa and Soldano to Bogner and Lynch
An angled view of part of the acoustic wall. We carry Washburn , Dean, Oscar Schmidt and Blueridge Acoustic Guitars. The guitars are kept in a humidity controlled store with a constant humidity level of 43% which makes any guitar happy. Blueridge is new for us and these guitars pretty much steal the show. Solid woods, bone nuts and bridge saddles, intricate abalone inlays and painstakingly accurate herringbone purfling on some models makes these guitars worth more than anything out there today. Come down and try one out, before this summer's mandatory price increase hits all models...
| Above, the BR40,mahogany, solid spruce top; BR63, laminated Indian Rosewood back and sides, solid spruce top; BR70, laminated Brazillian Rosewood back and sides, solid spruce top and abalone everywhere; BR73 "000" version with laminated Brazillian Rosewood back and sides, solid spruce top and abalone everywhere; BR160, solid East Indian Rosewood Back and Sides, abalone round the body. | No it's not Fonzie or Elvis... It's the Custom Leather Dean Hardtail Jacket you get FREE when you purchase a Dean Collector's Edition Hardtail Guitar. Only 150 of them were built in various colors and wood types. We have two of them #6 in Midnight Blue and #22 in Vintage Cherryburst. |
Yes it is, a Silvertone Cracked Mirror Model, Very Rare Very Limited Edition, only 1 of 25 built. After Paul Stanley left Washburn, bad move... this is what he designed with them. The Imports are readily available under $800 but this one lists for $10,000 made in the Vally Arts Guitar Studio in LA. This one is owned by a friend of mine named Dan...definately a Paul Stanley shape.

Nice atmosphere for a clinic...eh? Small and private...
Vince Genella, the Randall Clinician digs into a riff behind the biggest wall of Randalls this side of Boston...
The crowd at the clinic with standing room only. Great turnout and a great way to get the information to the public. Is that Eddie Van Halen in the left corner?
The store filled up really fast with only standing room only in the back. Vince Played for about 2 hours
I think this kid pulled a Neo and just said "wo"... that was amazing....
Two hours later, the clinic coming to an end Vince surprises everyone with with their favorite songs in a medley form ingeniously patched together to form one big jam session. From Wanted Dead or Alive to Back in Black to Led Zep hits to Bohemian Rhapsody, Vince tore up the place last night. If you ever get a chance to see him perform, TAKE IT.
Vince had a slew of preprogrammed MP3's in a medley form hooked to an I Pod, running through the PA and into the rack he had and then into the RM 100B Stack. Like someone famous once said "Randall amplifiers are like my best Marshalls"
New November '04 (above) pics the calm before the holiday rush period. Tons of stuff in and new guitars all around the place.
